Approach and anchoring
Three Mile Harbor opens off Gardiners Bay through a marked entrance channel. Keep to the dredged channel as the harbour shoals on either side. Five deep-water transient moorings lie on the south-east side, suitable for vessels up to 65 feet.
Practical
Halsey's Marina lies 0.6 nm south-east and Gardiner's Marina 0.7 nm south-east, both with fixed docks, showers and laundry. Both basins are run by the same family operator, which also manages two other marinas on the harbour for fuel and provisioning.
Ashore
Protected woodland borders the southern part of the harbour on three sides. East Hampton village, with shops and restaurants, lies a few miles inland by road.
