Marina in the southern part of Three Mile Harbor, East Hampton, with 41 berths in a basin bordered by reserve land on three sides.

Approach and anchoring

Three Mile Harbor opens off the south side of Gardiner's Bay. The approach carries a seasonal lighted bell buoy, then a buoyed channel; favour the east side to hold 8 feet to the basin. Jetty ends show private lights. Tidal current runs about 3 knots through the entrance. Call the harbour master on VHF 9.

Practical

Berths take vessels from 40 to 105 feet, with water, 30 or 50 amp shore power, cable and broadband at each. The clubhouse has heads, showers, ice and a lounge. Every berth holder has a dedicated parking space. Diesel and petrol are available at the sister marinas nearby.

Ashore

East Hampton village shops, galleries and the historic Main Street are about 3 miles south. Maidstone Park, with a bathing beach on Gardiner's Bay, lies near the harbour entrance.
