Approach and anchoring

Enter Betsie Bay through the Frankfort channel between the breakwater piers from Lake Michigan. The harbour is well sheltered once inside. The marina lies on the south side of the bay near the town centre.

Practical

58 berths, of which around 30 take transient visitors, on fixed pontoons. Berths suit boats from 30 to 74 feet, dockside depth about 8 feet. Boathouse with showers, laundry and a boaters lounge. Indoor pool and hot tub. Season runs May to October.

Ashore

Frankfort town centre is a short walk away with shops, restaurants and a beach on Lake Michigan within 1 km. The Betsie Valley Trail follows the old railway grade east toward Crystal Lake.
