Approach and anchoring
Reached from Lake Michigan through the breakwater entrance at Frankfort, then across Betsie Lake. Fixed docks with about 25 feet on the approach and 15 feet dockside, taking vessels up to 165 feet. Some 30 berths are kept for transient boats.
Practical
Shore power at 30 and 50 amp, fresh water, cable and WiFi, pumpout, restrooms and showers. There is a small ships store and a boaters lounge with pool table and TV, plus a pool. Open 7am to 10pm in the peak season. Phone 231 620 0474.
Ashore
Downtown Frankfort is one block from the berths, with a supermarket, shops and restaurants within walking distance.
History
John and Lori Sarya bought the marina in 2008 to keep the site from being redeveloped as condominiums.
