Approach and anchoring

Reached from Portland Harbour off Casco Bay. The dockmaster monitors VHF channels 9, 12 and 16. Transient berths take vessels up to 250 feet against a 590-foot bulkhead. Floating pontoons with water and shore power at each berth.

Practical

Around 160 berths with about 10 kept for transients. Fuel berth dispenses petrol and diesel. Ship store, showers, heads, laundry, wireless internet and a pump-out. On-site restaurant. The marina is open from mid-May to mid-October.

Ashore

Centerboard Yacht Club lies 0.1 nautical mile west and DiMillo's Marina 0.4 nautical mile north-west, both on the South Portland shore. Downtown Portland sits across the harbour by water taxi or road.
