Guide
Approach and anchoring
Enter Portland Harbour past Spring Point Ledge Light, then bear north of the Fore River channel toward South Portland. The marina sits on the south shore east of the Casco Bay Bridge. Approach is straightforward in daylight; commercial ship traffic and the bridge clearance dictate timing for taller rigs.
Practical
170 wet berths, vessels up to 150 feet, draught up to 8 feet at low water. Fuel berth, heads with showers, laundry, and 12 000 square feet of indoor heated winter storage. Travel lift to 55 tons for haul-out and service. Liveaboards accepted. Transient berths bookable nightly or weekly through Dockwa. Phone 207-799-8191.
Ashore
Bug Light Park and the 1875 Portland Breakwater Light are 1.5 km north along the South Portland Greenbelt, a paved walkway. The 10.9-mile Greenbelt runs south through the city, and the Casco Bay Bridge gives pedestrian access to Portland's Old Port in 20 minutes on foot.
