Public marina on Sugarloaf Key at mile marker 17 of the Overseas Highway, in the lower Florida Keys.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Set on the bay side off US 1 at Summerland Key. The fuel berth and boat ramp are open to the public for a fee, with shallow water typical of the back-country flats around Sugarloaf, so check draught against low water.
Practical
Fuel berth and a public boat ramp. A separate shallow ramp serves kayaks, paddleboards and small craft. The ship's store stocks fishing tackle, live and frozen bait, drinks and snacks. Kayak and paddleboard hire and guided back-country tours run from the marina.
