Approach and anchoring
Reached from lower Tampa Bay, with an approach depth of about 12 feet. The marina gives quick access to both the Gulf of Mexico and the Intracoastal Waterway. Call the harbour master on VHF 16.
Practical
Around 326 wet berths, both covered and open, taking yachts up to 110 feet, with four megayacht berths. There is a fuel dock, a chandlery, dry stack storage, a boat hoist for craft up to 36 feet, a repair yard and the on-site Getaway restaurant. Floating concrete pontoons and marina-wide Wi-Fi are in place.
Story
Maximo is one of the largest covered marinas on Florida's Gulf coast and was rebuilt by IGY Marinas in 2018.
