Reached from Barnegat Bay via the Forked River channel, dredged to roughly 7 ft at low water. The bay is shallow, so plan for a 4 to 5 ft working draught and watch for shifting shoals.
Practical
Boatyard with 15 and 50 ton travel lifts and a manlift for mast and rigging work. There is a repair facility, winter storage, a year-round ship store with parts, bait and ice, plus showers and picnic areas. Ted & Sons Forked River Marina and Tide's End Marina lie about 0.2 nm to the south-east.
