Approach and anchoring
Reached from Barnegat Bay via the Forked River channel, dredged to roughly 7 ft at low water. Largest vessel handled is 50 ft. The bay is shallow, so plan for a working draught of 4 to 5 ft.
Practical
156 berths with a fuel berth and pump-out. Five transient berths are available. Authorized Volvo Penta dealer and service centre with a marine repair shop, plus winter storage and shrink-wrapping. Swan's Marina lies about 0.2 nm west; J & E Marine Repair about 0.4 nm north.
Story
The marina was run by the Spalliero family for more than 20 years before passing to new owners who had previously operated a mobile home park in Jackson, New Jersey.
