Guide
Approach and anchoring
Fan Pier Marina is reached from the inner harbour on the south side, between the Barking Crab marina to the west and the Boston Children's Museum waterfront. It is the Boston marina closest to open water and the outer harbour.
Practical
Membership covers slip fees, insurance, cleaning and maintenance, with monthly sailing time on a shared, maintained fleet. The Boston club runs May to October. Fan Pier Marina itself offers shore power, water, fuelling and a full-service boatyard.
Ashore
The Institute of Contemporary Art stands beside the marina. Seaport District restaurants and the MBTA Silver Line are within a short walk for crew and provisioning.
