Approach and anchoring

Reached up the New River from the Intracoastal Waterway, a route crossed by several opening and fixed bridges. Maximum draught 3.5 metres. Yard office on VHF channel 11.

A 65-acre yard taking over 200 vessels from 40 to 200 feet, with in-water berths, 19 covered work sheds and a 485-ton travel lift. On-site and authorised contractors cover mechanical, electrical, paint, carpentry and fibreglass work. The site holds Foreign-Trade Zone status.
