Approach and anchoring
Enter from San Pablo Bay through the marked Petaluma River channel under the Highway 37 bridge. The approach channel carries about 6 ft at low water and is roughly 4.5 m wide. Marina depths range from 4 to 7 ft, plan tides for deep-draught yachts.
Practical
Wet berths plus dry storage and trailer storage. Public single-lane launch ramp directly across from the marina. Office at 270 Sears Point Road, open 08:00 to 17:00. Phone 707 778 8055. Operations have been reduced in recent years, call ahead to confirm a visitor berth.
Ashore
Sears Point and the San Pablo Bay National Wildlife Refuge wetlands surround the marina, with birding observation points along the levee tracks. Petaluma town centre 12 km upriver by road for full provisioning.
