Guide
Approach and anchoring
Reached through the Port Washington Narrows from Port Orchard. Watch the current under the bridges and the local shoals near the Silverdale waterfront. Dyes Inlet itself gives a wide, sheltered anchorage on a mud bottom off the town.
Practical
A fixed pier and floating docks with about 300 feet of side-tie moorage, rarely crowded. Transient fees run 15 dollars a day up to 28 feet and 30 dollars a day above, three nights maximum. There is a fuel dock and a ship store with boating supplies.
Ashore
Silverdale Waterfront Park sits beside the moorage, with a boat ramp, a beach walk and picnic spots. The shops and services of Old Town Silverdale are within walking distance.
