Small private river port on the Seine at Sèvres, west of Paris, upstream of the Île de Billancourt.

Approach and anchoring
Navigation on the Seine between PK 3 and PK 4 below the Pont de Sèvres. Mind commercial traffic, keep to the right bank in the bend. Strong currents possible after winter rainfall, check VNF river levels before moving.
Practical
Private moorings along the right bank, no visitor berths guaranteed, contact the harbourmaster before arrival. Water and shore power on the pontoon. RER and bus at Pont de Sèvres at 400 m.
Ashore
Parc de Saint-Cloud entrance at 900 m, 460 hectares of royal gardens redesigned by Le Nôtre. Musée national de Céramique at Sèvres at 300 m, porcelain manufactory founded in 1740. Île Seguin and the Seine Musicale concert hall at 1.2 km downstream.
History
Sèvres took its modern identity from the royal porcelain works moved here in 1756 under Madame de Pompadour. The Pont de Sèvres has linked both banks of the Seine since 1809 and has been rebuilt several times, most recently in 1963.
