Approach and anchoring

Lake port, no tidal constraint. Channel from the lake marked by buoys, shallow water on either side. Motor boats limited to the lake. Inland waterway rules apply.

Practical

Pontoon berths for motor boats and small sailing dinghies. Water and electricity at berths. Slipway on site for launching. Supermarket and shops in Biscarrosse-Lac village, around 1 km from the harbour.

Ashore

Freshwater beach at Navarrosse, 300 m from the port, supervised in summer. Pine forest trails of the Landes de Gascogne around the lake. Musée de l'Hydraviation in Biscarrosse town, 9 km by road, covering the Latécoère seaplane era.
