Approach and anchoring
Access by road only, no seaward approach. The lake is a reservoir of about 23 km2, maximum depth around 20 m. Sail and motor boats share the basin with a speed limit enforced by the park authority. Maximum draught 3 m at the pontoons.
Practical
254 berths, water and electricity on the pontoons. Slipway and crane at the base. Sailing school on site. Village shops, bakery and restaurants along the main street, under 400 m from the port.
Ashore
Forêt d'Orient regional nature park surrounds the lake, with waymarked walking and cycling trails around the shoreline. Wildlife observation park Réserve de la Forêt d'Orient north of the lake, about 6 km by road, known for cranes and deer. Lac du Temple and Lac Amance to the east for further water sports.
