Guide
Approach and anchoring

Tramontane funnels down from the Pyrenees and raises short steep seas off the coast. VHF 9 for the harbour office. Max draught 8 m at the entrance.
Practical
190 berths with water and electricity on the pontoons. Sanitaires with showers at the capitainerie. Rail station on the Perpignan to Portbou line sits above the harbour, useful for crew changes.
Ashore

History
Cerbère grew as a rail border station after the Perpignan to Portbou line opened in 1878. The Hôtel Belvédère du Rayon Vert, built in 1932 above the port in reinforced concrete, is listed as a monument historique.
