Approach and anchoring
On the Marne between Port a Binson downstream and the bridge of Damery upstream. Marked channel, speed limit 10 km/h. Keep clear of the bank shallows on the inside of the bend.
Practical
Short pontoon with a few places for river cruisers. Water bollard in season. Minimal services in the village, small grocery and bakery within 400 m. Nearest full provisioning at Damery 3 km or Epernay 10 km.
Ashore
Champagne growers at Reuil and Binson-et-Orquigny open to tasting, several within 1 km. Eglise Saint-Remi of Reuil, 12th to 16th century, 300 m from the halt. Vineyard walking paths signposted on the coteaux above the village.
