Approach and anchoring
Approach from the west via the main gulf entrance between Port-Navalo and Locmariaquer. Strong tidal streams reaching 8 knots at springs on the entrance bar. Sand bottom, sheltered from NW through NE to E. Open to the south and exposed to wake from the passage.
Practical
No services at the anchorage. Locmariaquer visitor pontoon 1.5 NM east, Port Deun Marine 1.8 NM NW. Mind slack water before moving inside the gulf.
Ashore
Neolithic site of Locmariaquer with the Grand Menhir Brisé and the Table des Marchands, 1.5 km from the port. Plage de Saint-Pierre-Lopérec on the gulf side. Oyster farms along the shore, direct sales in the village.
