Approach and anchoring
Enter the Aber Wrac'h via the Libenter channel from the west, marked by port and starboard buoys. Strong tidal streams in the entrance, up to 3 knots on springs. Perroz sits on the north shore, a short hop east of the main Aber Wrac'h marina. Watch for drying rocks along the channel edges and check the SHOM chart before approach.
Practical
Six berths, mainly for locals. Fuel available on site. Full services, chandlery and capitainerie at Aber Wrac'h marina half a mile west. Shops, bakery and post office in Plouguerneau village, about 3 km inland.
Ashore
Coastal path GR34 runs along the aber and follows the north Finistère coast. Île Vierge lighthouse, the tallest stone lighthouse in Europe at 82,5 metres, stands 3 km north-west and is open to visitors in season by boat from Aber Wrac'h. Saint-Michel chapel above the dunes of Lilia, 2 km north.
