Approach and anchoring
Fresh-water approach on Lake Washington, no tide, no swell. Open south of the I-90 floating bridge, with access to Lake Union via the Montlake Cut and the Ballard Locks. Gated dock entry, berths held for owners and tenants.
Practical
Two pontoons with berths from 8 to 15 metres, several of them covered. Shore power, fresh water and TV cable on each berth. Marina building with showers, heads, laundry and a 1.2 by 1.2 metre locker per berth. Address 9050 Seward Park Avenue South.
Ashore
Seward Park 300 acre peninsula 1 km north, with old-growth forest trail and shoreline path. Grocery store and cafes along Rainier Avenue South 1.5 km west. Lake Washington Boulevard cycle route runs past the marina.
