Guide
Approach and anchoring
The East Basin is reached through a marked, deep-water channel off Long Island Sound and is well sheltered. Launch service runs daily from 09:00 to 20:00, and to 21:00 at weekends.
Practical
Two guest moorings, one for boats up to 35ft and one up to 55ft, plus an offshore dock with fresh water. The clubhouse has showers, a kitchen, lounge, wi-fi and a wrap-around porch over the harbour. Ice is available.
History
Orienta Yacht Club was founded in 1907 by a group of yachtsmen anchored in Mamaroneck Harbour. Their first clubhouse was a one-storey house built on a floating barge.
