Among the most sheltered berthing on the Sound. Glen Island Yacht Club lies 0.1 nautical mile to the south-west, Wright Island Marina 0.3 nautical mile to the north-east.
Practical
Slips for about sixty yachts from 22 to 60 feet. The club runs yacht racing, one-design and frostbiting series, and a junior sailing programme.
History
Yacht owners formed the Neptune Yacht Club in October 1894. The name was changed to honour the Huguenots who settled New Rochelle after fleeing La Rochelle, France, and the club incorporated on 8 February 1895.
