Guide

Approach and anchoring

Approach from the Mississippi Sound off Front Beach Drive. Waters near the shore are shallow and exposed to southerly winds, so check depths against the tide. The club sits just east of the Biloxi Bay bridge.

Practical

Members club founded in 1969 with beachfront berths, a swimming pool, bar and dining room. The current clubhouse dates from 2007, the previous building having been destroyed by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Fuel and provisions are available at Ocean Springs Marine Mart, about 1 mile to the east.

Ashore

Downtown Ocean Springs, with shops, galleries and restaurants, is within walking distance of the waterfront. Front Beach is a short walk along the shore.
