Approach and anchoring

The division oversees four harbours on the Biloxi waterfront, reached from the Gulf of Mexico across the Mississippi Sound and the Intracoastal Waterway. The Biloxi Small Craft Harbour is the oldest, set in downtown Ole Biloxi next to the Hard Rock Casino.

Practical

Close to 500 slips across the four harbours, plus seven boat ramps and seven piers. Berths have fresh water, shore power, showers, heads and a laundry. There is a fuel berth, a pump out, a bait shop, wireless internet and round the clock security. Harbourmasters on duty at all times.

Story

Transient dockage runs at one dollar per foot, with permanent berths at six dollars per foot per month plus a power, environmental and 7 percent sales tax charge.
