Approach and anchoring
On the lower river south of both the Amtrak railroad bridge and the bascule bridge, so reachable from Long Island Sound without bridge openings. Well protected from the elements. VHF channels 9 and 68.
Practical
About 115 berths for boats up to roughly 40 feet. Full-service yard with a 20-ton travel lift and indoor and outdoor storage for around 150 vessels. Chandlery on site. Sister yard Mystic Shipyard West sits on the opposite bank.
