- Mooring buoys
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Sand and mud bottom, good holding. The ria is well marked but narrow; stay inside the buoyed channel to avoid the extensive oyster parks that dry at low water on both banks. Current runs with the tide up to 2 knots at springs. Port Deun Marine is 1.1 nm north.
Practical
No facilities at the anchorage. La Trinité-sur-Mer marina lies 1.8 nm NW with 1200 berths, fuel pontoon, water, electricity, chandlers and a boatyard with 50 t travel lift.
Ashore
La Trinité-sur-Mer village at 1.8 nm has restaurants, bakeries and a seafood market on the quay. The Carnac megalithic alignments are 4 km inland from La Trinité, with over 3000 standing stones at Ménec, Kermario and Kerlescan. Oyster tasting cabins operate on the ria banks around Le Pô.
