Approach and anchoring
Enter the bay from the south-west with the coast of the Cap Lardier on the starboard hand. Sand bottom with posidonia patches to avoid. Exposed to south and south-west swell.
Practical
Forain anchorage, no buoys or services. Drop in 5 to 8 m on clear sand. Cavalaire marina 2.7 NM east for fuel, water and provisions, Marines de Cogolin 5.1 NM north at the head of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.
Ashore
Bonporteau beach lies at the head of the bay with tender landing on sand. The GR 51 coastal path climbs onto the Cap Lardier, part of the Port-Cros national park since 2012, with the viewpoint at Cap Taillat 3 km on foot.
