Guide
Approach and anchoring
Lies on the ICW close to mile marker 345, the closest stretch in the Myrtle Beach area to the Little River Inlet. The bottom is mud. Holding favours wind from the north, south and north-west. Vessels at anchor near the channel will feel wash from passing ICW traffic.
Practical
Fresh water is available at Cricket Cove Marina, 2.6 miles to the west, which has a fuel berth, a ship's store and restrooms. Myrtle Beach Yacht Club lies 3.5 miles to the west. Both serve as a refuge if the wind picks up.
