Approach and anchoring
From Lake Erie, enter the Vermilion River between the breakwaters marking the river mouth. The landing sits on the east side of the river in the heart of the historic district. Monitors VHF 9.
Practical
320 feet of single-sided bulkhead dockage for boats up to 90 feet, fixed docks, 10 feet alongside. Daily rate 2.50 USD per foot. Open 0700 to 1800. No liveaboards. Run by Vermilion Port Authority.
Ashore
Boardwalk along the Vermilion River starts at the dock. Inland Seas Maritime Museum 0.4 miles north on Main Street. Restaurants and shops of Harbour Town within walking distance.
