Approach and anchoring

Enter Mission Bay through the buoyed channel between the jetties off Mission Beach, then work into the basin past Mariners Cove. Expect 5 to 6 metres of water inside and lay a scope of 4:1 or 5:1 where room allows. The basin is shallow in places, so keep to the deeper southern part.

Practical

Overnight anchoring is permitted only in Mariners Basin and is capped at 72 hours, with no reservation needed. Driscoll Mission Bay boatyard lies 0.4 miles east and Seaforth Marina 0.6 miles east for fuel, water and repairs.

Ashore

Bonita Cove park sits on the north shore with grass and a swimming beach. Belmont Park amusement pier and the shops of Mission Beach are within a short tender run, and the Bayside Walk follows the shoreline for walking and cycling.
