Approach and anchoring
The moorings lie off the resort dock in Lewis Cove. Call ahead on VHF 09 or 68. Holding nearby is on mud. The cove is sheltered from north-west through north to west and south-west. Dock and launch service runs 8am to 8pm from mid-May to mid-October.
Practical
Fourteen deep-water moorings for boats up to 50 feet. Fresh water is available. A wooden tender ferries crews ashore. Mooring guests have use of a shower and coin laundry, and a discount at the resort grill.
Ashore
Browns Wharf Inn and Carousel Marina both lie about 0.5 mile to the west. Boothbay Harbor, with shops, restaurants and provisioning, is a short hop across the peninsula.
