Approach and anchoring

Enter Oak Orchard River from Lake Ontario between the breakwall lights at Point Breeze, 43 22.5 N 78 11.4 W. The fixed white breakwall light flashes every 6 seconds. Channel carries good depth for shoal-draught cruisers up to the marina pontoons. No tidal restriction on the Great Lakes.

Practical

26 berths for boats up to 35 ft length and 13 ft beam. Shore power, mains water, showers, covered deck with grill. Open seasonally from spring to October. Several charter operators berth here for salmon and trout fishing.

Ashore

Oak Orchard State Marine Park boat launch 200 m south. Point Breeze hamlet with two waterside restaurants within walking distance. Replica Oak Orchard lighthouse on the east bank, 0.5 nm downstream.
