Guide

Approach and anchoring

Approach from the open sea clear of any outlying hazard. Drop the hook in sand and weed patches, holding uneven over posidonia. Only sheltered from the south-east; exposed to mistral from the north-west and to swell from the open south.

Practical

No services on the buoy. Closest refuge is La Madrague de Saint-Cyr 1.2 nm to the north, Port Athena 1.7 nm to the east for a full marina.

Ashore

Les Lecques beach is the main sandy stretch in the bay, with shops and cafes along the seafront promenade. The coastal path GR 51 runs east towards the Calanques de Figuerolles and La Ciotat.
