Approach and anchoring
Enter through the main Cleveland Harbor opening opposite the Cuyahoga River mouth, then head east inside the breakwater. The lagoon sits behind the Cleveland breakwall and the Burke Lakefront Airport runway, sheltered from northerly fetch. Reciprocal arrangements required for visiting club members.
Practical
250 deep-water berths with 16 to 20 feet alongside. Fuel berth with diesel and petrol, ValvTect supply. 30 and 50 amp shore power, clubhouse, restaurant, swimming pool, laundry, ship's store. Members and reciprocal visitors only.
History
The club opened on the 9th Street Pier in 1930 during the Great Depression and later moved east along the lakefront. It co-hosts Cleveland Race Week in July with Edgewater Yacht Club, billed as the largest freshwater sail regatta in the United States.
