Guide
Approach and anchoring
Drying estuary with strong tidal streams on both flood and ebb. Entry only around high water on a rising tide, following the marked chenal de la Somme. The area gives shelter all round from swell but not from wind across the sands.
Practical
Weed bottom, holding poor, not recommended for an unattended stay. Halte Nautique 0.3 NM NE for a fore-and-aft mooring at high water. Quai de la Barque further upstream 6.4 NM north.
