Approach and anchoring
Reached from the Corpus Christi bay system by the Piper Channel. Floating docks carry approach and dockside depths of about 6.0 and 8.0 metres in feet, and the harbour takes vessels up to 100 feet overall.
Practical
245 berths including 50 transient berths. Fuel station with diesel and non-ethanol petrol, pump-out available 24 hours, air-conditioned facilities with showers, and a ship store carrying frozen bait, tackle, ice and drinks. The Phoenix restaurant is on site. No liveaboards.
Ashore
The Port Aransas seafront and beach lie a short drive away on Mustang Island, with charter fishing fleets running offshore trips for redfish, kingfish and snapper.
