Guide

Approach and anchoring

Reached from the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway through Aransas Pass. Approach via the marked ICW channel, watching for crab pots and shoaling outside the buoyed line. Sandy and muddy bottom inside Redfish Bay.

Practical

Operates as a sailing and dolphin-watching charter outfit rather than a public transient marina. Yacht Club Marina, Redfish Bay Boat House and Aransas Pass Yacht Club lie within a mile and handle visitors, fuel and pump-out.

Ashore

Aransas Pass town centre at 1 km, with grocery and chandlery. Ferry to Port Aransas and the Mustang Island beaches at 4 NM east. Birding hides of the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge 25 NM north, wintering ground of the whooping crane.
