Approach and anchoring
Freshwater lake anchorage, no tide. Bottom is mud with weed patches, holding can be irregular on the weed. Port de Nonsard lies 1.2 nm to the NE for shelter.
Practical
Shelter from NW through W and from the N. Exposed from the SE to SW. No services at the island itself; water, fuel and slipway at Port de Nonsard.
Ashore
Landing on the island is generally restricted for nesting birds on parts of the shore during spring. Nonsard village 2 km from the shore with bakery and grocery. Cycling loop of the lake passes the north bank.
