Reached via the Canal de la Marne au Rhin east branch, between Niderviller and the Arzviller inclined plane, operated by VNF. Standard Freycinet gauge, max draught 2 m. Lock chambers 38.50 m long.
Practical
5 berths at the base pontoon reserved mainly for fleet turnover. Water and electricity at the pontoon. Diesel on site. Boat handover and briefings run by the Le Boat team.
Ashore
Arzviller inclined plane, a 1969 boat lift replacing 17 locks, 4 km east on the canal. Plan incliné visitor site with boat trips. Sarrebourg 7 km east with its Chagall stained glass Paix at the Chapelle des Cordeliers.
