Approach and anchoring
Set on Sunset Lake in the sheltered back-bay water behind the Wildwood Crest barrier island, reached from the New Jersey Intracoastal Waterway.
Practical
About 20 in-water berths for powerboats and sailing boats up to 24 ft. The club runs a youth sailing programme for ages 7 and up, with instruction on club Optimist and Sunfish dinghies.
History
The club was founded in the summer of 1938 by Charles Englefield, Doc Lukens and Ed Flood. It hosted the International Moth class world championship in 1970, with entries from France, the United Kingdom and New Zealand.
