Approach and anchoring
Boat owners and their adult family members must pass a background check to gain access, as the marina lies inside a naval base. Guests are vetted too. Approach from the open lake and contact the marina office before arrival.
Practical
The 96-acre marina has 30-foot piers with utilities, linear wall space, mooring buoys and dry storage. There is a fuel berth, a pump-out station and a launch ramp. The boatyard handles winter storage, winterising and shrink-wrapping. Family beach with a beach house, restrooms and showers.
Ashore
Sail and power boats are available for hire. The marina runs US Sailing courses, basic and intermediate, and US Powerboating safety instruction.
