Approach and anchoring
Reached from the Detroit River, no tides on the Great Lakes. The harbour is off Algonquin Park Drive, with floating docks and day-use dockage. Open from early May to mid-October.
Practical
30 amp shore power, fresh water, modern heads, showers, laundry, pump-out, WiFi and a boaters lounge. 24-hour security and parking. A park with a playground and picnic shelter adjoins the marina.
Ashore
The adjoining park has a playground, grills and picnic shelter. Belle Isle, a state park with beaches and trails, lies a short run upriver.
