Approach and anchoring
Sand and rock bottom, hold on sand patches. Protected from NW, N, W and SW winds by the peninsula. Exposed to easterly winds and swell from the Golfe de Giens. No night marks.
Practical
Private harbour of Cap Bénat 0.1 nm NW, access restricted to members. Bormes-les-Mimosas port 1.9 nm north has visitor berths, diesel, water and shops. Good daytime stop in light easterlies.
Ashore
Fort de Brégançon, the French presidential summer residence since 1968, sits 1.5 nm east on its rocky islet. Domaine viticole AOC Côtes de Provence La Londe covers the hills inland. Sentier du littoral runs around the cape to the Plage de l'Estagnol beach 2 nm west.
