Approach and anchoring
Reached from the Potomac River at the confluence with the Port Tobacco River. The marina has five piers, one of them floating, and three boat ramps, with 250 berths for vessels of all sizes.
Practical
Shore power with 30 amp pedestals and on-site full marine maintenance. The grounds include 90 wooded waterfront campsites. The marina runs family events through the season.
Ashore
The Port Tobacco River winds through marsh and farmland in Charles County. The village of Port Tobacco, a colonial-era county seat with a reconstructed courthouse, lies a few miles up the river.
