Approach and anchoring

On the west bank of the Intracoastal, mile marker 778 approximately, immediately south of the SR 312 bascule bridge. Access from the Atlantic is via the St. Augustine inlet, then south down the ICW past the Bridge of Lions. Address 650 State Road 312, St. Augustine.

Practical

Fewer than 50 berths, mix of sail and motor boats, private and commercial. On site mechanic, heads, fish-cleaning stations. Phone 904-471-1955. Oasis Boat Yard and Marina is 0.9 nm to the north-west, St. Augustine Shipyard 1.1 nm north-west, both providing haul-out and boatyard services.

Ashore

Anastasia State Park, on the ocean side of Anastasia Island, is 4 km east by road with Atlantic beach. Historic downtown St. Augustine, the oldest continuously occupied European-founded city in the United States, is 4 km north, with the Castillo de San Marcos stone fort of 1672.
