Approach and anchoring
Reached from the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway near mile 295, through the yacht basin off Myrtle Grove Sound. Approach depth around 15 feet, dockside around 25 feet. Address 910 Basin Road, on 910 458-4201.
Practical
Long and short-term dockage plus five transient berths. Transient rate around 2.25 dollars per foot, shore power 10 dollars for 30 amp and 15 dollars for 50 amp. Clubhouse and pool overlook the basin.
Ashore
The Carolina Beach Boardwalk, with shops and restaurants, is a few blocks from the marina. Carolina Beach itself, on the Atlantic side of Pleasure Island, is within walking distance.
