Approach and anchoring

Approach through Eastchester Bay from Long Island Sound. The bay is shallow, with depths of 7 to 10 metres falling away to 3 to 5 metres northward, and the shores are fringed with boulders, so keep to the marked channel. The waters off City Island serve as a summer anchorage for small craft.
