Approach and anchoring
On the Trenton Channel, the western arm of the Detroit River, with an open run up and down the river. Four launch wells and four loading wells alongside the marina.
Practical
52 slips with water, 50 amp shore power, modern showers, a pump-out, ice and laundry. Day-use dockage available. Open early April to late October. The park has a playground, picnic tables with grills and a dog run.
History
Elizabeth Park sits on the 162-acre former Slocum's Island, donated to Wayne County in 1919 by the heirs of Elizabeth Slocum. It is recognised as the first county park established in Michigan. The park keeps over 1,300 feet of riverwalk.
